Observational study conducted in 400 women during the immediate postpartum period to evaluate the relationship between domestic violence, mental health, risk behaviors, and perinatal outcomes. A total of 31.5% screened positive for violence, primarily psychological and economic. Exposure to violence was associated with higher odds of postpartum depression and tobacco use, highlighting the importance of identifying vulnerability factors during pregnancy and the puerperium.
